Hydrogen in amorphous metallic Fe83B17 alloy

Description
Hydrogen solubility in amorphous Fe85B17 metallic alloy at different temperatures and hydrogen pressures was measured. The calculated thermodynamic and kinetic characteristics of hydrogen solutions were correlated with the similar data for crystalline phases of iron. Sufficient differences in properties of hydrogen solutions in amorphous and crystalline solvents were revealed. Possible reasons of these differences were discussed
