Description
We study a discretization DF of the nonlinear Fourier transform F associated with the integrable partial differential equations of AKNS-ZS type. We construct an iterative procedure by means of which we can calculate the inverse transform DF(h) for an arbitrary small enough argument h to any desired accuracy. The construction of this procedure is based on the analogous construction for the continuous transform F
