Description

Proceeding from a study of the results of 5100 fluorographic examinations the authors have issued specific recommendations for the improvement of the LPFF technique intended for examination of patients with cardiac pathology. To raise the efficacy of fluorographic examination of the heart, one should stick to the main methodological procedures which are described in the paper and use a comprehensive analysis of the fluorography data taking into account the clinical and functional examination data. The standardized heart LPFF technique makes it possible to diagnose congenital and acquired heart diseases, myocardial, pericardial, aortal and pulmonary artery changes with a ihigh degree of significance. The necessity of subsequent roentgenoscopy arises in 15-20% only. The above data on raising the efficacy of the heart LPFF and improving the activities of cardiology units acquire special importance in the light of the present-day requirements for regular medical check-ups of population
