Description

We investigate some constraints on cosmions from accelerator experiments. Searches for single photon events in e+e- annihilations show that cosmions can only be weakly coupled to electrons. As for their couplings to quarks, the bound on the decay Υ→γ+ unobserved neutrals significantly reduces the allowed parameter space for axially coupled cosmions, whereas a reduction of the present bound on the branching ratio B(Υ → unobserved neutrals) would allow one to test the higher cross-section window among the two remaining open for vectorially coupled cosmions.
