Quantitative X-ray phase analysis of Fe-Mn alloy textured samples

Description

Two methods of quantitative X-ray diffraction analysis of the Fe-20%Mn alloy samples are suggested, with an account of crystallographic anisotropy. The first method is a survey method used to construct inverse pole figures and the second one - an inclination method, used to survey rolled samples. It was shown that the texture affects γ reversible epsilon transformations and the γ/epsilon ratio in the quenched Fe-20% Mn alloy. Both methods give satisfactory coincidence of results
