Mediastinum benign schwanomas: studied by computerized tomography

Description
We present three cases of mediastinum benign schwanomas, studied by CT and their pathological correlation. The different areas of mixed attenuation on CT, corresponds histologically to areas of hypocellularity, cysties and xanthomatous degeneration, so we conclude that the inhomogeneity which is presented in this tumors does not necesarily indicate malignity.
