A study of oxygen activation well logging technique and its applications in the oil fields
Creators
Description
Because of the deficiency of radiotracer logging techniques for water injection profiling during the development of an oil field, a pulse neutron oxygen activation-logging tool was developed, which has high accuracy and a wide range of adaptability. Field examples show that this technique is suitable not only for injection profile monitoring of general injection wells and lamination wells, but also for solving such problems as leakage inspection, channelling detection and casing deformation determination
