Description

We have measured the magnetic susceptibility and the anisotropy for a (La1-xSrx)2CuO4 (x = 0.075) single crystal in the fluctuation regime for fields between 0 and 5 T. The fluctuation contribution close to Tc is smaller than the one expected from standard 3D or 2D Ginzburg-Landau theory. Our data could be rescaled according to the model proposed by Ullah and Dorsey, using 2D exponents. The anisotropy data shows a deviation from linearity in the vicinity of Tc, for fields close to the plane direction, which we attribute to the onset of bulk superconductivity. (orig.)
