Description
A continuous radiation monitoring system developed by the U.S. Bureau of Mines was installed in a Western underground uranium mine. Tests were run to compare data from current radiation sampling procedures with that from the continuous system. Results from the tests show that the continuous data mirrors trends in the Kusnetz data. Overall, the two systems seem to be fairly compatible, but more experimentation is recommended
