Control of corrosion of structural materials in the process of operation of a nuclear power plant with the RBMK type reactor

Description
Presented are the estimation results of structural material corrosion resistance. Corrosion resistance of perlite type steels is by about an order of magnitude less than corrosion resistance of chromium-nickel austenite steels. The correctness of structural material choice for the repeated forced circulation loop of a nuclear power plant with the RBMK type reactor has been confirmed
