Polarized-photon structure function and asymmetry in photon photoproduction process
Description
The helicity difference of the photon structure function is discussed, using Altarelli-Parisi-type equations and the Nicolaidis technique. The spin asymmetry in the photon photoproduction γp→γX is then calculated. Also discussed are the contributions originating from three kinds of subprocesses: Compton scattering, photon structure type, and fragmentation type
