BIOMOVS - A validation study for biosphere models

Description
Various organisations have come together under the umbrella of the BIOMOVS agreement to perform a biospheric model validation study. The purpose of the study is to test conceptual and mathematical models which describe the transfer and accumulation of radionuclides and other trace substances in ecological systems. In the present article, the organisation, primary objectives, test approaches and time schedule are presented. (author)
