Post-irradiation studies of WWER-1000 RCPS RE with dysprosium titanate after 4 year operation under conditions of reactor power control
Description
A post-irradiation study is made on dysprosium titanate base absorber from the experimental regulating rod having been operating for 4 years in the 5 unit of WWER-1000 at the NVNPP under conditions of automatic power control. The effectiveness of dysprosium titanate as a neutron absorber in control elements of long-term performance is corroborated. Proper allowance must be made for dysprosium burnup and variations of its isotopic composition

Проведены послереакторные исследования поглотителя на основе титаната диспрозия из опытного поглощающего стержня, отработавшего 4 года в режиме автоматического регулирования мощности реактора ВВЭР-1000 5-го блока НВАЭС. Подтверждена перспективность использования титаната диспрозия в качестве поглотителя нейтронов в органах СУЗ с увеличенным ресурсом работы.
