Installation for monitoring variations in state variables like pressure and temperature
Description
The patent application concerns a device by which pressure and temperature in the tyre of a vehicle are to be monitored or damage in a conveyer belt to be shown. The monitoring equipment consists of two parts, the actual monitoring circuit mounted, e.g., on the chassis of the vehicle, and the sensor circuit mounted, e.g., on the wheel of the vehicle. The sensor circuit is a coil short-circuited by a switch which is opened, however, on pressure or temperature changes in the tyre or if the conveyer belt is damaged. The monitoring circuit contains an electric oscillator giving a modulation signal if the sensor coil is moved past it with closed switch; if the switch is open, i.e. in case of disturbance, the modulation signal is not given. Die Patentanmeldung betrifft eine Einrichtung, mit der Druck oder Temperatur in einem Fahrzeugreifen ueberwacht oder die Beschaedigung eines Foerderbandes angezeigt werden sollen. Die Ueberwachungseinrichtung besteht aus zwei Teilen, der eigentlichen Ueberwachungsschaltung, die sich z.B. am Fahrzeugchassis befindet, und der Sensorschaltung, die sich z.B. am Fahrzeugrad befindet. Die Sensorschaltung ist eine Spule, die durch einen Schalter kurzgeschlossen ist, der aber bei Druck- oder Temperaturaenderung im Fahrzeugreifen bzw. bei Beschaedigung des Foerderbandes geoeffnet wird. Die Ueberwachungsschaltung enthaelt einen elektrischen Oszillator, der ein Modulationssignal abgibt, wenn die Sensorspule mit geschlossenem Schalter an ihm vorbeibewegt wird; bei offenem Schalter - also bei Stoerung - faellt das Modulationssignal aus.
