Electron power pulsed accelerators for national economy
Description
A pulse electron accelerator with a klystron gun is designed. The accelerating device is a metallic tank on the upper cover of which a pulse transformer, insulator and klystron gun are mounted. A beam of accelerated electrons is directed vertically upwards. Energy of the accelerated particles is 350 keV, pulse current of the beam is 300 A. Energy of the electrons in the accelerator may be doubled through cascading of two pulse transformers with a two-gap accelerating tube. A pulse system of the booster preinjector may serve as a basis for elaborating the second version of the accelerator
