Description

Data acquisition is an important part of accelerator based experiments. The development of data acquisition systems has been governed by current technology and its ready availability as well as requirements in experiments and analysis. Given the increasing complexity of experiments planned in the future and the availability of beams from the super-conducting LINAC booster, clearly further augmentation will be required from time to time. This gives the details the development of data acquisition systems from the time experiments were started over 10 years ago
