Optimal control of xenon in a large nuclear reactor
Creators
Description
In this paper, the Xenon optimal control problem under changing load situation of a nuclear power plant is studied by the combination method of Differential Dynamic Programming (DDP) and Minimum Principle. The calculating results show that the nonlinear Twopoint Boundary Value Problem (TPBVP) is better solved by the described method. Under the condition of ensuring the same precision, this kind of method, comparing with DDP, has the advantages of rapid, convergence, short calculating time and wider convergent range. (author)
