Alternative dynamical description of the Wess-Zumino-Witten system

Description
Various different descriptions of the Wess-Zumino-Wittennsystem are developed. This involves the introduction of a modified Euler-Lagrange equation and a generalized minimal coupling. The interrelationships and advantages of the alternative descriptions are discussed. (orig.)
