Influence of radiation defects indium by (n, γ) reaction on the hyperfine interactions of 181Ta in YFeΛ2

Description
Experimental results of determination of the effect of radiation defects induced by the (n, γ) reaction on the hyperfine magnetic field for sup(181)Ta in YFΛ2 are given. Measurements using the method of perturbed angular γγ-correlations have revealed that magnetic fields on sup(181)Ta nuclei in regular points of the γ-sublattice in ''fault'' positions arising as a result of the (n, γ) reaction do not differ only by the value but by the sign as well: Hsub(per)=-14.4 T, Hsub(def)=+62 T
