Temperature dependence of element atomization efficiency in a graphite furnace
- 1. Ural'skij Gosudarstvennyj Univ., Sverdlovsk (Russian Federation)
Description
Temperature dependences of atomization efficiencies for certain chemical elements (Be, Cd, In, Mo, Te, V, etc.) under conditions of a graphite furnace are obtained using a thermodynamic model proposed previously. It is demonstrated that the evidence from thermodynamic simulation coincides well with the experimental findings. The thermodynamic simulation of processes occurring in the analytical zone of a graphite furnace provides a possibility for quantitative description of element atomization under change of both the chemical composition of the sample and the temperature in the atomization zone. 30 refs.; 4 figs.; 1 tab
