Description

The paper describes the new pulsed electron beam facilities GESA designed for material surface treatment. Facilities ensure the possibility to realized melting depths of materials in the range of 10-100 μm. Parameters of the electron beam produced are: electron energy 50-400 keV; beam current 200-500 A; beam cross-section 50-100 cm2; pulse duration 5-250 μs; maximum power density at the target 6 MW/cm2; maximum energy density 500 J/cm2. All beam parameters are controlled independently

Abstract (Russian)

Описываются новые установки ГЕЗА с импульсными и электронными пучками, предназначенными для поверхностной обработки материалов. Эти установки реализуют изменение глубины плавления материалов в диапазоне 10-100 мкм. Получены следующие параметры электронных пучков: энергия 50-400 кэВ, ток пучка 200-500 А, сечение пучка 50-100 см2, длительность импульса 5-250 мкс, максимальная плотность мощности на мишени 6 МВт/см2, максимальная плотность энергии 500 Дж/см2. Все параметры пучков регулируются независимо
