Peculiarities in bead formation during submerged cladding of corrosion protective coatings with two electrode bands

Description
The influence of operating conditions on peculiarities of changes in the bead geometric characteristics has been studied during submerged cladding of a plate made of the St3 steel using two Sv-07Kh25N13 electrode bands. Empirical formulae are suggested to calculate these characteristics. Conditions, providing a high quality bead formation , are determined, ways for further increase in the submerged cladding efficiency are pointed out
