Follow-up of 2016 market and prices of individual heat pumps

After a presentation of the adopted methodology, this document, illustrated by data tables and graphs, proposes a view on sales of individual heat pumps (up to 30 kW) in France in 2015 and 2016. Data have been obtained by questionnaires sent to companies specialised in geothermal heat pumps, in aero-thermal heat pumps or thermodynamic water heaters (TWH). After some general sales data, the report presents those related to geothermal heat pumps (continued sales decrease in 2016, evolution since 2012), to aero-thermal heat pumps and TWHs (continued sales increase, evolution since 2012), to the French markets of individual central heating systems with all energies, to the regional distribution of sales for the different heat pumps and TWHs, to their distribution in terms of power, in terms of sector (housing, office building, others), and in terms of housing type (new or existing). The next part discusses mean price evolutions since 2010 for the different devices depending on their technology (soil-soil, soil-water, water-water, glycol water-water, air-air, air-water, TWH). The sector turnover is also analysed with respect to these device types
