Mass spectrometric analysis of tin of high purity

  • 1. AN SSSR, Novosibirsk. Inst. Neorganicheskoj Khimii

Description

A procedure of mass spectrometric determination of 43 impurities (including B, La, Mo, Re, Sr, V, Y, Be, Cd, In) in high purity tin with the limits of detection of (Csub(min;0.9)) 104-10-8 mass% has been developed. A method of sample preparation for analysis is proposed. Chosen is the material of counter-electrode providing the least contribution into the total ionic current. The limits of detection for elements in the region of secondary blackening were reduced. A comparison of analytical characteristics of the main physicochemical methods of high purity tin analysis is given
