Low energy optical excitation in CeB6
- 1. Tohoku Univ., Sendai (Japan). Dept. of Physics
Description
The optical reflectivities were measured on the single crystals of the typical Kondo substance CeB6 and its reference LaB6 in the energy range from 2 meV to 5 eV at 300 K and 10 K. Characteristic absorptions are observed around 12 meV from the excited Kondo state and 0.45 eV due to the virtual exiton of f-d transition in CeB6
