Laboratory investigations of beam-plasma interactions using the equipment of the Shuttle cosmic device prototype
Creators
Description
Pre-estimations of laboratory investigations of beam-plasma interactions are presented. Particular stress is paid to the beam-plasma discharge (BPD) type plasma instability. Experimental data are obtained in recording VLF- and HF plasma radiation spectra that is caused by continuous plasma radiation by an electron beam. It is shown that discharge mechanism is primarily defined by the electron gun operating conditions
