Analysis of nuclear diffraction of neutrons in the frameworks of the complex angular momentum method

Description

In the frameworks of strong-absorbing nucleus concept the analysis of literature data on elastic scattering differential cross section for fast neutrons angular distribution was carried out. In the systematization the experiments with fast neutrons within the range from 7 to 14 MeV were included. Fitting was conducted on PC in dialogue mode. In capacity of start fitting theoretical values an analytical values unambiguously related with peculiarities of diffraction pattern (absolute values of cross sections, oscillation period, inclination of circumflex by diffraction maximums, diffraction oscillations amplitude and initial phase of oscillations) have been calculated. In the result of single-valued relation of theoretical parameters with nuclear spatial structure the spatial characteristics of nuclei within mass range A=6-208 were experimentally obtained. The comparison of extracted parameters with analogous ones obtained under the α-particles scattering at same energy (50 MeV) has been carried out. Such comparison allows to reveal a number of peculiarities in the neutrons and α-particles scattering
