Electron-photon emission of a massive sample and silver films of different thickness
Creators
Description
The absolute intensity, spectral distribution and the polarization degree of radiation produces in the process of interaction of low-energy electrons with silver surfaces are investigated. It is found that all the characteristics of the radiation depend on both silver films thickness and the angle of observation. The nature of the observed spectral structure is discussed. For example, in the case of very thin films this structure is mainly caused by the radiation decay of surface plasma oscillations
