Description

Some of the successful data collection programs on specific problems are mentioned. These are actinide cross sections, fusion charged particle reactions, Lithium-7 breakup reactions, neutrons per fission, decay heat from fission products, the form of the fission spectrum and neutron scattering differential cross sections. Some trends in data-collecting experiments are mentioned. Data for applications are also summarized. These include neutron kerma data for neutrons above 10MeV, helium production from neutrons on Boron-10 and the resonance and thermal regions of fuel nuclides. (U.K.)
