Description

Neutron spectra from (p, n) reactions on 27Al, 52Cr, 53Cr, 56Fe, 58N,, 60Ni, 62Ni, 90Zr, 91Zr, 94Zr, 113Cd, 115In, 122Sn, 181Ta nuclei have been measured at 22.2+-0.3 MeV proton energy at 21 deg angle. The measurements have been performed by the time-of-flight neutron spectrometer at the 150 cm cyclotron. The high-energy part of the neutron spectra is investigated. For the purpose of elucidating the peculiarities of the neutron energy distributions measurements with an improved resolution are performed. The performed investigations of the high-energy part of the neutron spectra have shown that the observed-states structure and angular distributions nature indicate mainly the direct character of interaction. The part of the preequilibrium emission constitutes not more than 20% of the emission into this part of the spectrum
