Environmental aspects of mining in Vietnam
Description
By using the data and diagrams obtained through the survey in the coal basin and in the mining areas of Vietnam, the paper analyses and evaluates the status of the physical environment in those areas. The ecological environmental in the surveyed areas has been seriously polluted: forests ravaged, rice fields submerged by waste water, the air polluted with dust and toxic gases, etc. From the above mentioned ideas, the paper analyses and lays out the causes of environmental pollution and proposes several measures in scientific-technological and legislative aspects for overcoming those situations. 4 refs., 3 tabs
