Description

Bremsstrahlung reflex triode is a new pulsed power load which can generate pulsed hard X-ray. In this paper, the radiation field of bremsstrahlung reflex triode was analyzed numerically. With particle-in-cell (PIC) simulation, the directional distribution, positional distribution and energy distribution of the incident electrons on the surface of anode foil were obtain as input parameters of Monte Carlo model of the reflex triode. The radiation field of the reflex triode was analyzed and compared with that of single diode. The results showed that when the thickness of anode foil is 10 μm, the conversion efficiency of X-ray energy is highest and the performance of triode is better than that of single diode. (authors)
