The systems (NH4)2SO4 - Rb2SO4(Cs2SO4) - Gd2(SO4)3 - H2O at 75 deg C

Description

The solubility in (NH4)2SO4-Rb2SO4(Cs2SO4)-Gd2(SO4)3-H2O systems at 75 deg C was studied by isothermal method. The ammonia sulfate-rubidium sulfate-gadolinium sulfate-water system is characterized by the presence of four fields of crystallization of phases: Gd2(SO4)3x8H2O, (NH4)2SO4xGd2(SO4)3x8H2O, Rb2SO4xGd2(SO4)3x2H2O and n(NH4)2SO4xmRb2SO4 solid solutions. In the ammonia sulfate-cesium sulfate-gadolinium sulfate-water system five fields of crystallization of salts: Gd2(SO4)3x8H2O, (NH4)2SO4xGd2(SO4)3x8H2O, Cs2SO4xGd2(SO4)3x8H2O, 3Cs2SO4xGd2(SO4)3 and n(NH4)2SO4xmCs2SO4 solid solutions were distinguished
