Description
As the neutron is uncharged, kinetic energy of the knocked-out neutron after the (γ,n) reaction is usually determined by measuring its flight time, the so-called time-of-flight (TOF). Here the TOF method is detailed and a number of photoneutron measurements which have different physical motivations, performed at Maxlab using this method, is presented. (author)
