Methods of investigation of impurity inclusions in molybdenum powders, its salts and oxides

Description
It is shown that conventional methods of analysis (chemical and spectral) of impurities in molybdenum powders, its salts and oxides do not provide reliable data on impurity inclusions due to small weight of the sample analyzed (1-2 g). The optimal sample wieght (50-100 g) is calculated. A technique of extraction, sampling and investigation of inclusions is suggested using high-gradient magnetic separation of powders
