Reactions of N-methyldiphenyl-amine-4-sulfonic acid in catalytic determination of iridium(4)

Description
The oxidaton of N-methyldiphenylamine-4-sulphonic acid with potassium periodate and iodate in acid solutions in the presence of iridium(4) has been studied. Highly sensitive and selective methods have been developed for the determination of iridium with determination limits of 2x10-5 and 8x10-5 μg/ml. The methods were used for the analysis of synthetic mixtures, platinum concentrates and other samples
