Experimental benchmark during commissioning of the RP10 with elements U3Si2 fuels

Description
During the commissioning of the RP10 research reactor with the new U3SI2 fuels, different experimental data were obtained on the experiences carried out in this process and that can be used to validate the calculation models developed. The validation of the calculation models is in accordance with the 4th. objective of the plan Institutional Strategy 2020-2023, which is to increase the production of radioisotopes and nuclear technological services for the benefit of the economic sectors, given that this will allow optimizing the use of the reactor and more accurately predicting the main parameters of the reactor, when obtaining calculated values within the margin of error of the experimentally measured values. Durante la puesta en servicio del reactor de investigación RP10 con los nuevos combustibles de U3SI2, se obtuvieron diferentes datos experimentales sobre las experiencias llevadas a cabo en este proceso y que pueden ser utilizadas para validar los modelos de cálculo desarrollados. La validación de los modelos de cálculo está de acuerdo con el 4to. objetivo del Plan Estratégico Institucional 2020-2023, el cual es incrementar la producción de radioisótopos y servicios tecnológicos nucleares en beneficio de los sectores económicos, dado que ello permitirá optimizar el uso del reactor y predecir de manera más precisa los principales parámetros del reactor, al obtenerse valores calculados de dentro del margen de error de los valores medidos experimentalmente.Additional details
