Description

An analytic model of the variance of the delay given by the delay line integrated in the Omega3/LHC1 pixel readout chip is proposed and verified with experimental data. This model can be used to further tune the design in order to maximise delay uniformity, thus optimising pixel detector time resolution. (orig.)
