Features of structural transformations in surface layers of titanium alloys during electrospark alloying
Description
Specific features of structural and phase transformations in surface layers of VT14, VT22 titanium alloys at electrospark alloying with graphite, cobalt, tantalum, T15K6, VK6Eh solid alloys as well as with nickel with its following processing with silicon or boron carbide are considered. Layers of complex phase composition are shown to be formed on the surface of these layers; the quality of these layers is higher when using anodes of pure metals and graphite
