Analysis and consequences of bacterial proliferation on tubes and in the (close or far) reservoir of geothermal doublets of the Parisian Basin - Progress report + Final report
Description
Whereas geothermal installations exploiting the Dogger aquifer of the Parisian Basin have, for most of them, faced problems of corrosion and of deposits, a progress report and a final report present the status of current knowledge about the microbiological activity of geothermal waters exploited in the Parisian region. They notably address the identification of strains, the localisation and evolution of the bacterial activity in geothermal installations and reservoirs, and the consequences of these strains and activities on the corrosion and clogging of geothermal wells. Thus, they present the concerned bacteria, a previous and a recent cartography of sulphur content in geothermal fluids, discuss the evolution of sulphur content in geothermal fluids, and discuss the influence of sulphur and of the production flow rate on the corrosive behaviour of fluids with respect to tubes
