  • 1. Tohoku Univ., Sendai (Japan)

Description

As to the monoenergetic neutron fields of from several keV to 20 MeV and their application, the monoenergetic neutron field and the research on neutron measurement standard of Electrotechnical Laboratory, the neutron source, the measurement of the characteristics of the neutron source and the application to the calibration of detectors in Tohoku University Dynamitron Laboratory, and the tandem 1H (11B,n)11C neutron source of Japan Atomic Energy Research Institute are reported. As to 14 MeV d-t neutron fields and their application, Osaka University OKTAVIAN, and the performance of the fusion neutronics source, the functions of the facility and the experimental equipment of Japan Atomic Energy Research Institute are reported. As to 20-40 MeV p-Li-7 quasi-monoenergetic neutron fields and their application, the features of the p-Li neutron source, the measurement of the neutron source characteristics, and the application to neutron experiment of the Tohoku University AVF cyclotron, and the tandem p-Li neutron field in Japan Atomic Energy Research Institute are reported. As to 40-90 MeV and 70-210 MeV p-Li quasi-monoenergetic neutron fields and their application, the TIARA-AVF cyclotron of Japan Atomic Energy Research Institute and the ring cyclotron of the Institute of physical and Chemical Research are reported, respectively.
