SORO prediction of high response NOP detectors

Description

This paper compares two approaches for predicting high response in-core NOP detectors. Results were compared against those generated and the station measurements. The analysis was carried out by using the core-tracking SORO program and the PI system with Bruce B Unit 6 data. The conclusions show that the current approach in use is effective and provides accurate prediction of high response NOP detector(s) to avoid unplanned reactor trips. (author)
