'Hideout' processes (local concentration) for impurities in NPP steam generator boiler water and their effects on equipment operation reliability

Description
Consideration is given to the processes of salt 'hideout' and to their effect on reliability of steam generator operation in result of local concentration of boiler water impurities in structure clearances and porous deposits. Data of operation observations at domestic NPPs with WWER-1000 and foreign PWR, as well as results of some experiments are presented. Possibility of using 'hideout' processes for evoluation of tube bundle contamination with deposits and removal of corrosion-active impurities from steam generator at NPP under operation, is considered
