Wie geht unsere Industriegesellschaft mit zivilisatorischen Risiken um, wie erkennt, bewaeltigt, verteilt oder kaschiert sie Risiken? Welche Bedeutung hat dabei die Diskussion ueber technisch-naturwissenschaftlich ermittelte Risikoabschaetzungen wie z.B. in der Kernenergie? Ausgehend von den Thesen des Soziologen Ulrich Beck ('Risikogesellschaft') setzten sich Naturwissenschaftler, Soziologen, Theologen, Psychologen u.a. in einer Ringvorlesung an der Universitaet Heidelberg mit diesem Thema auseinander.
