Extraction of alkaline earth metals with N-benzoylphenylhydroxylamine (BPHA). Part. 2. Strontium and barium complexes in chloroform
Description
The extraction of strontium and barium by N-benzoilphenylhydroxylamine(BFHA) solution in chloroform has been studied. In the range of metal concentration <=10-3 M and BFHA>0.05*M the complex MeH2(HA)2 is extracted (where HA-nondessociated molecule BFHA, A-anion BFHA). The extraction constants (Ksub(ex)) of these complexes and stability constants of SrA and BaA complexes in the aqueous phase have been calculated by graphic extrapolation and by the method of least squares.
