Production of gamma quanta and P0 in anti p p interactions at 22.4 GeV/c

Description
γ and π0 production in anti pp interactions at 22.4 GeV/c is studied. π0 production in annihilation events is estimated. The average number of π0 mesons and the number of the associative charged particles are related by a linear dependence factor which has been measured to be 0.26+-0.06. It is shown that the γ and π0 longitudinal and γ transversal momentum spectra show agreement with the scaling in the mean hypothesis. Tha data are compared to the quark-parton model predictions
