On the interaction of a complex plasma with an external ion beam

Description

The interaction of micro-sized (SiO2) grains confined in an rf-plasma with an external ion beam has been qualitatively investigated. The effect of the ion beam on shape and position of the particle cloud is described and discussed in respect to void formation
