Description
We calculate the single nucleon intermediate state contribution to the electric dipole moment of the neutron induced by the vacuum angle THETA. We find the value vertical strokeDsub(n)vertical stroke = 1.1 x 10-15vertical strokeTHETAvertical strokee cm, which dominates over other possible contributions. Current experimental bound on Dsub(n) yields vertical strokeTHETAvertical stroke < 4 x 10-10. (orig.)
