Interstellar gas turbulence effect on coagulation of cosmic dust

Description

The interstellar gas turbulence effect on the coagulation velocity and on the growth of interstellar dust were examined (ID). Calculations were carried out within the framework of isotropic and homogeneous turbulence theory. The velocity of interstellar dust growth in the turbulent interstellar gas was shown to be several orders more than the interstellar dust growth velocity at heat collisions. However in interstellar medium, that lacks considerable turbulent motion, the growth of dust size is insignificant
