On the lifetime difference of the Bs mesons and their experimental detection
Description
It is shown that a significant lifetime difference between the Bs physical states cannot be excluded from present measurements. The experimental study of the lifetime difference probes deeply into the banti s bound state and restricts the vertical strokeVtdvertical stroke matrix element strongly. It is pointed out that separate measurements of the time evolution of the CP-even and CP-odd final states provide a possible method for determining the widths of the long- and short-lived Bs mesons.
